Feta-Olive Bison Sliders

June 26, 2017 By Natasha Leave a Comment

Whip up a batch of these Feta-Olive Bison Sliders for your next BBQ or summer party! They’re gluten free, low carb, keto, and DELICIOUS!

I partnered with my friends at Lindsay Olives to make this recipe. As always, all opinions are my own!

Well…. it’s officially summertime and that means it’s officially burger season! I don’t know about you, but I never get tired of a good burger. There are literally SO MANY combos you can make using different proteins and flavor add-ins. These feta-olive bison sliders are packed with allll the flavors: feta, Mediterranean Medley olives from Lindsay Olives, fresh garlic, fresh herbs (I used flat leaf parsley, cilantro, and mint!), and a fun secret ingredient, lemon zest!

Although I used bison for this recipe, I have used grass fed ground beef as well as half ground beef and half ground pork. And, I’m sure lamb, chicken, and turkey would all work really well too! So, have at it and use any of those!…

Watermelon Mojito Refresher

May 25, 2017 By Natasha Leave a Comment

It’s getting warm and that means staying extra hydrated this summer! You’re gonna love this delicious and super hydrating watermelon mojito refresher! Make a pitcher for your next BBQ or put some in your water bottle to replace those lost electrolytes after a workout.

This post is sponsored by my friends at Natural Vitality! All opinions are always my own!

It’s feeling like summer around these parts with temps hitting triple digits this week in NorCal and that means if you do anything outdoors you’re gonna be sweating. And with sweating you lose water, but you also lose precious electrolytes.

PSA: Dudes. it’s super important to stay hydrated!

So, YES, drink your water, and drink LOTS of it. I’m gonna guess you need to drink a lot more than you think! Water is the most important nutrient in our bodies making up 55-60% of our body mass. Water enables cellular hydration, improves oxygen delivery to the cells, maintains normal electrical properties (think heartbeat), and regulates body temperature….

How to Throw an Epic DIY Taco Bar Party + Guacamole Recipe

May 4, 2017 By Natasha Leave a Comment

Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, like literally tomorrow! I created a simple and delicious guacamole recipe that you can make for your gathering, plus a fun menu for an epic DIY taco bar party!

I don’t know why, but Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite holidays to have fun with good friends and good food! One of my friends who is from Mexico asked me why us Americans like to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Well, I don’t know about you, but I love the flavors of Mexican food, and any excuse to have a celebration and diy taco bar party with my friends!

And just to clarify, I know that Cinco de Mayo isn’t Independence Day in Mexico. It’s actually the celebration of the battle the Mexican army won against the French army in the state of Puebla on May 5, 1862.

For whatever the reason, Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo hard AF! (ALLL the tacos!)…

Salsa Verde Chicken

April 10, 2017 By Natasha Leave a Comment

This salsa verde chicken is the perfect filling for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and chilaquiles. Plus it’s super freezer-friendly for make ahead meals!

This post was created in partnership with my friends from KitchenAid! Prep was super simple thanks to my KitchenAid® Artisan® Mini Stand Mixer and with Food Processor attachment. They supplied me with their product, but all opinions are always my own.

I know there are a million recipes on the inter-webs for salsa verde chicken, and I’m not really reinventing the wheel here. I’ve seen recipes that use slow cookers, pressure cookers, oven baked and made on the stove top. I opted to just do this one on the stove top since I wasn’t too concerned about this recipe being hands off….

Cilantro Chimichurri

March 31, 2017 By Natasha Leave a Comment

Get ready to put this ish on EVERYTHING! If you like cilantro as much as I do, this cilantro chimichurri will become your new BFF!

Okay, here’s the deal… my love for cilantro runs deep. So deep that my blood is probably green. Okay, maybe not that deep. But you get it. Plus, I don’t love parsley very much. So, when making a chimichurri, I just had to do an all cilantro version. I know, I know, this is not a totally authentic Argentinian version, so there’s that. This cilantro chimichurri is packed with tons of fresh, herb-y flavor from the cilantro and garlic….
