Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon

Sweet maple syrup meets spicy brown mustard to create the perfect glaze for broiled salmon! This maple mustard glazed salmon cooks in under 10 minutes and will melt in your mouth!

Can we talk about sweet and salty for a minute? I’m in love with sweet and salty everything! This maple mustard glazed salmon dish is no exception… Sweet maple syrup meets spicy brown mustard to create the perfect glaze for broiled salmon!

This dish comes together really quick for a great weeknight dinner. Or for whenever you want something totally amazing cooked in under 10 minutes! I marinated the salmon in the maple mustard mixture for about 15-20 minutes before cooking just so all the flavors could mingle before cooking. Then, just pop under a hot broiler for 5 minutes, cover with foil and cook another 5 minutes, and dinner is ready!

The star of this recipe is this Sir Kensington’s Spicy Brown Mustard. This stone ground, european style deli mustard offers a rugged sweetness coupled with an approachable tangy heat. This recipe features a combined blend of brown and yellow mustard seeds, balanced with a touch of Vermont maple syrup.

I’m pretty sure I use this mustard literally every single day. It goes on my sandwiches, in salad dressings, and is delicious on poultry and seafood!

Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 ounce) wild salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup Sir Kensington’s Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

In small bowl, whisk together all ingredients except salmon. Pour over salmon in a shallow dish and marinate in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

Preheat broiler and place oven rack 4 inches away from heat. Place salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spoon remaining marinade over each fillet. Broil for 5 minutes, then cover loosely with foil and broil and additional 5 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Enjoy salmon served on a bed of mixed greens.
